Programmer (Code # 3562) |
| Activities: Join the development team for our products
and do web site coding, web site development,
and web site maintenance. Work as part of
our development team to design, program and
test software running in Microsoft Windows
environments.
Skills & Background: You need to be an experienced, superior
ASP programmer familiar with the Microsoft
Windows environment and MFC. Must have a
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
or a closely related field, or equivalent
work experience, Commercial software development
experience with web-site coding, shopping
carts, image processing, multimedia programming,
and .NET a plus. Must be self-motivated
but able to work as part of a team. This
is a demanding technical environment that
will test and expand your expertise.

Technical
Writer (Code # 3564) |
Activities: Writer User’s Guides, Help files and
tutorials for our commercial PC software products.
Materials will be published in within our
products, in print and on the Web site.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Write User’s
Guide, Help files, tutorials and other user
assistance collaterals.
Work with technical and
non-technical stakeholders to documents products,
identify user issues and hit
product deadlines.
Work with
the technical support and training departments
to create articles and tutorials for the web
site.
Work with the marketing department to create
how-to materials to support the marketing
initiatives.
Skills and Background: The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of
technical writing experience. Strong editorials
skills and experience in documenting commercial
PC software are a plus. Bachelor’s
degree in technical writing or similar required;
masters degree a plus. Must be able to work
under tight deadlines with little supervision.
Experience with one or more of the following
is a plus: Web Works Publisher, single-source
writing, usability methodology, help authoring
for Web applications, image editing software,
and HTML.
